Exam nerves

‘Why worry? If you’ve done the very best you can, worrying won’t make it any better.’ – Walt Disney

Many people feel stressed when faced with sitting exams. Exam nerves just before an exam can be normal and often helpful as the adrenaline rush helps to focus the mind on getting the job done well.

Sometimes people can experience a sense of overwhelm or panic at exams. They may also feel the anxiety long before the exam itself. These intense feelings, particularly when experienced over a longer period can not only be unpleasant but can also affect the ability to focus and concentration often suffers.

The sessions are based on calming the mind, enabling the student to more easily recall information as well as feeling more comfortable about the whole process.
