Weight loss is often achieved through dieting, rigorous exercise, wonder tablets, gastric bands, calorie counting or a combination. Here’s the thing – diets don’t work! They are hard to maintain and often, once the target weight has been reached, the weight creeps back on. The way to lose weight and maintain it is to make healthy, easily sustainable life changes. I can help you to do that.

Sometimes there is a psychological reason for over-eating. If you are serious about wanting to be be slimmer, I can help you to focus your mind on becoming slim, deal with any emotional aspects and help you to make better food choices. Coaching, hypnotherapy and NLP are an excellent combination of techniques to help you to be slim.

The sessions are not a magic pill.  To reach your ideal weight you will need to make some changes in your lifestyle.  I once had a client who was quite upset that she didn’t magically lose 10 pounds during the 1 hour session. For the record it doesn’t work like that!  Although you will need to do things differently, there’s no need to starve yourself.  Eating the right foods is the key. Although it may seem counter-intuitive, starving yourself can cause the body store body fat and lose lean muscle mass, making it harder to shift the fat. Dieting can feel like a challenge.

If your health permits, exercise is recommended.  If you have any health problems  please consult your doctor prior to the taking up exercise.

When you deprive ourselves of something you like, then you want it even more.  You always have a choice.  You could choose to have just a little piece of chocolate very occasionally, and choose not to have any most of the time.
